This week at PactSafe, we have added tables, chairs, more desks, monitors, and walls of whiteboards to our space. You can now sit in almost every room! We also added Director of Business Development Jason Everhart to our team. Being pretty fresh to the world of PactSafe myself, I asked Jason these questions to help everyone get to know him a little better.
Tell us about yourself! Where are you from, what’s your background?
JE: I’m originally from Indianapolis. I graduated from Heritage Christian High School then attended Purdue for a semester before transferring to Charleston Southern University in South Carolina. I studied Communication, Psychology, and Business Law. I started my career with Thomson Reuters as a sales representative. During my 5 years with Thomson, I held various sales and consulting positions. In 2009 I moved back to Indianapolis from St. Paul, MN to take a job with Freije, an engineered water treatment company, to serve as a sales manager. In 2011 I started with Renovia, a national project management firm as their national sales manager for a new market vertical in the hospitality space. Fast forward four years and I’m now the Director of Business Development with PactSafe.
What excites you about joining the PactSafe Team?
JE: I’m an entrepreneur at heart and have always been fascinated with the evolution of technology in the legal/tech space. With the pace in which technology and our laws evolve, it’s imperative to stay current with these changes, while understanding these implications on our society and business environment. Joining the PactSafe team allows me to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit while joining a team and culture which is unlike anything I have experienced. What excites me most about our product is that there’s nothing like this on the market and there is a massive need to help our customers and prospects minimize the risk they are exposed to regarding their digital legal agreements.
What will you be doing for PactSafe?
JE: My title is Director of Business Development. Most of my time will be spent prospecting, building great relationships, closing deals, and working together with our sales team to build a world class organization.
Favorite thing to do in your free time?
JE: I love spending time with my wife, Kim and 2 children. I have a 5 year old daughter, Adriana and a 2 year old son, Charlie. We enjoy camping, traveling, and playing soccer. Soccer is a staple in our household with all of us playing on at least one team which occupies most of our free time.
